I really hate to think that one of the reasons a certain lay audience finds AI so appealing is that they think we’ve basically made The Computer/Holodeck from Star Trek, when in reality we’ve made something more akin to an episode where either one of those two things is on the fritz.

I stepped WAY the heck out of my comfort zone yesterday and opened up flat color headshot commissions on my Ko-Fi, and got two buyers pretty much immediately. As someone who’s felt like he’s been really struggling with digital art, these turned out better than I could have imagined.

Well this has certainly evolved. The graphic designer in me still loves all of the products in @kyellgold.com ‘s Out of Position books.

I’m toying with the idea of also expanding my Ko-Fi to offer graphic design services along with fine art. I probably won’t be able to sell copyrighted stuff like this, but I’d love to get more experience customizing things like stream overlays.
