Every time Google fires off an “a.i. summary“ someones home becomes a little bit more uninhabitable because the machines running the data center across the street are screaming at top volume while they consume all the potable water in the city and drive up the cost of basic electricity.

BTW, YACreader is phenomenal for digital comics. I’ve been backing indie comics on Kickstarter for more than a decade and this is the first simple turn key digital comics solution that just works really well.

I keep hearing, “I don’t use ai to create anything, I just use it for brainstorming/coming up with ideas.” STOP DOING THAT! Anything you turn over to the machine, that part of your brain goes dark. I’m convinced the future belongs to those who haven’t outsourced their thinking and creativity.

I think one of the worst fumbles Hollywood has ever done is dropping the ball on Mouse Guard. It looked amazing. People were excited. It would’ve hit theaters at the start of the animation boom. And instead, they just didn’t do it.

People are more important than things. This is true even if those things are software programmed to flirt with us and talk like a person and billionaires are pretending that those things have souls. People are still more important than things.
