A good year for butterflies 🦋. The top five. Small White topped the national table this year, with 281,634 recorded, followed by Gatekeeper (211,029), Large White (190,295), Red Admiral (141,178) and Meadow Brown (134,335).

The Rollright Stones stand majestically above the Cotswold landscape. Built from local limestone over 2,000 years ago, the King’s Men are said to be impossible to count. It is one of the finest places in the Cotswolds to pause and take in the landscape. 🪨 🪨
