Confused seeing people critique Marco Silva for ‘changing system’ by bringing Sess in for #LEEFUL I saw next to no difference in what Fulham did structurally due to that switch 🤷‍♂️ If anything Sess just played the Castagne role more aggressively, RW slotting in at RWB 🧵 1/4

Was very taken by just how flexible the #FFC build up was during #FULCHE even prior to the red card 5ATB base structure shifting into 4ATB build. Consistent dynamics but plenty of rotation and players comfortable everywhere These examples all came from the opening 5 mins! 👇

Fulham have the lowest number of aerial duel wins in the PL this season 📉 And only Spurs have as low an aerial duel win % as Marco Silva’s men Partly this seems to be down to the high volume + low percentage usage of Raúl, but our defenders could also be more dominant 👇

A major trend in Marco Silva’s gameplan at #FFC lately is the use of Berge in the initial line of buildup with FBs higher from the outset With Iwobi gone + Jedi back, ESR suits one of those central progression options dropping in from the left Would this XI work for #FULNFO? 👇
