We’ve got to have some music on the new frontier. Partial to a charity shop and an old newspaper cutting. Formerly @100Covers on Twitter, author of a couple of books and used to sometimes write for the Independent.

Probably one that I’d rescue in the event of a fire. Original paper sleeve signed by the Attractions’ bassist Bruce Thomas

“I still believe in love, peace and understanding, as Elvis Costello said, and what's so funny about love, peace and understanding?" John Lennon

It is spring, moonless night in the small town, starless and bible-black, the cobbledstreets silent and the hunched courters'-and-rabbits' wood limping invisible down to the sloeblack, slow, black, crowblack, fishingboat-bobbing sea. Dylan Thomas, Under Milk Wood. #BookWormSat 🎨 Augustus John

Delighted to track down the super rare Attractions 10” WORK recorded with the photographer Brian Griffin at Edinburgh in 1988. Their only appearance without Elvis Costello.

Tracking down Elvis Costello’s Japanese CD releases with bonus tracks isn’t easy in the UK. Very happy to find this one though and to hear Elvis’s cover of The Velvet Underground!

This is a fabulous album. Anyone else know it? Peggy Lipton was married to Quincy Jones and had a brief on-off with Paul McCartney in the 60s.

If like me you’re an Elvis Costello completist, The New Basement Tapes’ album of lost Dylan lyrics is a must. Five Dylan/Costello co-writes and EC plays on all 20 tracks.
