I use Calibre recycled paper litter, it's fantastic but is exclusive to Pet Direct, and I was getting annoyed at the constant cardboard boxes that I have no way of getting rid of so tried a supermarket version. My God it's crap! You can't scoop it. The pee doesn't clump! Every pellet is wet!
I love this photo from my collection that was correctly framed to cut off people's heads but catch the photobombing cat.
My workmate was eating lasagne for lunch and now I can think of nothing else. I want lasagne for dinner but I have none of the ingredients involved nor the vessel in which to cook it.

Every day people show me antique photos of cats forced into costumes or wired into anthropomorphic positions, expecting me to be delighted. I know they mean well but I've seen them all and I hate them. I love cats. Seeing them uncomfortable and humiliated for human entertainment does nothing for me.
Ah damn, just took a mean fall. Turns out a cardboard box with a packing paper footpath on the kitchen floor for the kittens to play with is a hazard.

Millie McKenzie@cowbear.bsky.social · 2w agoInternet tells me I just remove the screw caps and unscrew it and new one just pops into the existing hole, easy. I bet it won't be that easy! I'm sure there'll be lots of swearing and stress sweating and anger and growling and kicking. That's how this kind of "easy" thing usually plays out for me.
