Getting Sunshine to work on Ubuntu was… “fun” If it suddenly can’t find any displays, delete the portal_token file and restart, then re-allow when the permission dialog pops up. Can happen when you change GPU drivers or how monitors are connected, and it will never work again unless you fix that.

There is this one group on Facebook I keep seeing… for vandalizing Flock cameras. A public group. If you are dumb enough to talk about that on Facebook under your real name, do not be surprised when the cops show up. Even joining that group and lurking would be a very bad idea.
Seeing an odd behavior here. Random posts or comments will get an immediate repost that isn’t visible to me. Only the count goes up. I know what it is: scammers/spammers. Either Bluesky is immediately suspending those accounts or they are doing something via myatproto/eurosky to get around blocks.
Tip for TX users: this is how BlueCheck age verification using DOB+last 4 SSN works. Bluesky uses Veratad, but it works the same way because that is the only way it can possibly work. DOB+4 returns a ton of matches. It only fails if there are none. It is the only method that doesn’t identify you.

Every time I have to touch PHP code I feel disgusting. The worst part is, I wrote every single line of this particular dumpster fire.

For now. YouTube hasn’t updated their short URLs to include tracking, but they will. Meta did and now all links from their apps are unique per share, the parameter is redundant. You have to copy and paste a URL without /r/share/ in it from a browser to not be tracked. Never use a youtu dot be URL.
