absolutely bonkers weather right now. wind, sideways rain, super loud thunder and lightening. trash cans are gone. we have a couple friends sheltering with us tonight. never had this intense of weather at our place.

Repurposed a container for ginger snap cookies into a planter! Just poked holes in the bottom and was good to go. Any ideas for repurposing the lid…?

We made pie for the first time :3 it’s a Mexican lime pie with homemade whipped cream and ginger snap crust
in cases like jackie the eagle, it’s so important to not anthropomorphize them! no, releasing her so she can go “die peacefully with shadow by her side” is not ethical (or legal)! she’s critically ill and can’t fly! this is why basic science education is so important, ugh.

coyotewren@coyotewren.bsky.social · 4w agotoday sewed a variety of lettuce and basil to be grown indoors, then started some shishito peppers and cucumbers. also sewed some sunflower, tepary beans, and amaranth outdoors. feels good to cultivate my own food. no poop lettuce for me thank you very much!

guys we as a society really need to learn that bugs are friends. bugs are cute and good and kind. even if you are scared of bug then it doesn’t mean bug need to die. if bug is causing issue to your home, then understandable, but bug are good mostly.
just a reminder to keep your cats indoors and watch your dogs because im really tired of having to put animals to sleep because some of y’all are irresponsible pet owners
