I rewatched Robbert Eggers' Nosferatu today, and it's like the perfekt movie. No hidden misogyny, proper responses to sexual assault, immaculate casting, the freaks are intelligent and compassionate and it has Willam Dafoe being his eccentric yet heartfelt self, per usual. Eggers is simply a genius.
