GTA VI putting a DL code in physical boxes is disappointing, but not surprising. Rockstar are very much anti-not-money, and you only need to look as far as them being anti-union, their shark cards, and legal going after the modding scene. Steam will probs be skipped in favor of their own launcher.
@fennichor.bsky.social and I are exploring a more ToS-Friendly way to bring whitelisting back to FE2CM; with the way that the platform’s been lately, automation doesn’t really feel like something that I can keep doing with the old system.
Somehow things are okay again (WRT FE2CM...?) I've been overly cautious with pulling some features from the game so that we don't find ourselves back at square 1. It's probably gonna upset/piss some people off, but at this point I just want the surface for moderation to be reduced as much as pos.
No response from Roblox’s recommended path for restoring games (Customer support). I have escalated to developer relations with the given support ticket number to make progress on this. FE:C will be the first one (least risky) then I will be pushing for FE2CM.

Thanks for the support with regards to Roblox causing issues for FE:C/FE2CM. In the grand scheme of things, it’s just another moderation mess up on Roblox’s part in that they also fail to tell me what’s wrong, but I would like my life to not face this issue.

Really excited for the AV2 codec ~30% more quality for the same file size? Sure, sign me up. My only concern is how many years out consumer hardware decoding will take. Hopefully less than 3 years from release, accounting for chip design -> manufacture. Apple might be first; then Nvidia…
Anyone got any recommendations for quick mobile games that I can just pull out and play with l, preferably pre-enshittification era? I just played Super Hexagen and did Hyper Hexagonest, so maybe folks could point me in the right direction. I don’t mind paying a small fee for the app.
