Looked for the Gretna v Newton Stewart score and found the match is on tonight, not yestreen as I had thought. Meanwhile, Clydebank confirmed my suspicion that some of their players aren't quite match fit by losing 6-1, demonstrating that pie & chips isn't the best choice for a pre-match meal.
1 I love Wigtown but some of the visitors to the bookshops are astonishingly snooty. Had a scone & coffee today and went for a wee. Somebody tried the door while I was in there. When I came out a woman - younger than me - was standing there. I smiled & held the door open for her.
