Oyster bar entertainment🦪🤩 Pascal's Manale serves up a variety of oyster dishes, including $1 oysters everyday until 6pm. The best part: all the shells are recycled and used to build living shorelines along Louisiana’s coast!

In April, volunteers helped construct this living shoreline with 250 tons of recycled shells. Since then, sediment has been filling in behind the reef. Sediment accretion provides erosion control & helps maintain the land's elevation. It's a good sign that this restoration project is taking effect!🦪

In 2025, we constructed this reef in Leeville using 59 tons of recycled oyster shells. In addition to providing habitat, the reef acts as a natural barrier that slows wave energy, which helps mitigate shoreline erosion and the impacts of storm surges!
