It's too late to pull the plug on next-gen releasing, that's true. It's not too late to pull the plug on manufacturing shortly after. Sega nearly bankrupted, but was able to wind down manufacturing and pivot to publishing only. Sony and MSFT have way more runway to make a cleaner exit than Sega.

Got my Half-Life faceplate for my Steam Machine.

Big Walk is very enjoyable so far. Performance is all over the place on PC. Frames dropping and spiking massively. Definitely needs some optimization, but still enjoyable in small bursts.

I like weapon degradation more than limited ammo. If your game is designed to be very scarce on ammo, thats fine! If its DOOM/Halo type shooters or it's basically just an action game like RE. Just do what Destiny 2 did and just make all guns infinite ammo by default except for the "special" weapons.

Sold my personal Halo Infinite Series X for $800 recently. Xbox was a great platform and felt like a no brainer in the golden age of Game Pass.
