Indie iOS developer. Building 6 apps solo at SlowBrewed Labs. I post about shipping, product tradeoffs, and building things people actually use.

Ran a small paywall experiment on one of my apps. Original setup: Monthly as the default, Lifetime visible, Yearly hidden behind "Other Plans." Swapped it. Yearly is now the default, Monthly visible, Lifetime behind the toggle. Users just stick with the default. Higher LTV. #indiedev

I built CreatorCaps because editing captions in a full video editor felt ridiculous for a 30-second clip. Everything runs on-device, no cloud uploads, and it's a one-time purchase. If you make short-form content, give it a try. apple.co/4sT5vRu #indiedev #iosdev #creatortools

The closer Appstead gets to launch, the less it feels like building. Most of my days now are edge cases, polish, and making sure nothing breaks when real data hits. Honestly kind of satisfying though. This is where the app earns its trust. appstead.app #indiedev

😂 One minute review? I can get used to this life. Anyways, CreatorCaps 1.6.9 is out! And this version brings you improvements for Japanese 🇯🇵 and Chinese 🇨🇳 localizations as well as bug fixes and UI/UX improvements. Go forth and download the latest: apple.co/4sT5vRu

Screenshot of a smartphone screen displaying a notification window titled "Connect." Below the title are two notifications from "Video Captions: CreatorCaps..." indicating version updates: "The status of version 1.6.9 has changed to Ready for Distribution." (12 minutes ago) and "The status of version 1.6.9 has changed to In Review." (13 minutes ago). Each notification features an app icon with a blue "A" on a white background. At the top right, there's a toggle labeled "Show less" and a close button "X." Below the notifications, the screen shows a camera icon and a flashlight icon centered at the bottom.

I made clipping feel a lot less hidden in the next CreatorCaps update. Clips Tray is coming to iPhone next week. Pull it in from the edge while you’re still in Clip Mode, preview what you’ve saved, then tap one to open the export sheet. Also: The app is now fully localized in German 🇩🇪☺️ #IndieDev
