Walking down the street yesterday morning, listening to a Stephen King audiobook and in my path is battered and dirty King hardback. It was just there, in the middle of the pavement. Of course I picked it up and took it home. The universe gave me a free book.

Completed Victory Road's story mode last night and it had an amazingly challenging final match that had me shouting at the screen at some points. I honestly didn't think a RPG focusing on a school football team would be such a great game. It's so great it's sneaked into my Top 5 games of 2026 ⚽

NO SPOILER thoughts on Spider-Man Brand New Day: This is the live action Spidey film that feels most like a comic book, with a neat character arc, team ups and face offs with other comic characters and brilliant action sequences. One of the best Tom Holland films with him as the web head. 4/5!
