There's a Sims 4 update for Windows only to fix the issue with Defender thinking the launcher is a trojan. This will not affect your mods/game version.

World appears twice on World Map
Some worlds are listed twice on the world map. The NPCs that come with that pack were also duplicated and appear twice in the household manager.

It looks like the Windows Ransomware protection is blocking Sims 4 again (possibly cause more users were switch to memory boost). If you have any issues with mods not enabling, pop-ups showing up over and over, check if it blocks: crinrict.com/blog/2020/10...
