sometimes I think about the microeconomy of commissions and get emotional if only for the fact there are many artists who are able to make a living based on the interest and good will of fellow working class folks who want to indulge in art. I hold onto that when I start to despair.

People who hold this sentiment need to realize that commerce does not equal capitalism. socialism is when the workers own the tools of production producing the goods and receive all the profit instead of the capitalist taking the majority of profit for owning the tools the workers use.

So about ten years ago I found a small network of bots on Reddit dedicated to spreading hate. The thing about it is that these weren't even responding to political topics - they were just responding to random keywords with insults and hate. The same bots are now here. You should understand why. 🧵
