When they do it, it's an "attempted hack." When I do it it's a "cybercrime." Maybe I should start calling myself a "public benefit corporation"

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that police generally need a warrant to access your phone’s location history because it’s protected under the 4th Amendment. Now the gov needs to show narrow requests with probable cause instead of treating your phone like open data. Small wins.

There are now 18,000 confirmed or suspected cases across 45 states. By any standard this would be a scandal but it’s just another metaphor for life under Trump - killer food contaminated with human waste.
