The people who spent years defending and even lionizing Kyle Rittenhouse and Ashli Babbitt now want us to believe that an unarmed mother in her car and a disarmed nurse were domestic terrorists who deserved to be murdered by law enforcement.

The Public Broadcasting Act of 1967 created the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. I reread it today; nothing in the law allows a president to defund PBS and NPR. In fact, Congress specifically sought to insulate public media from political pressure.

On a day like this, it’s important to say THANK YOU to all the science and public health communicators for all you do. Your work will be even more critical in the coming years. Keep going! You are very much needed and appreciated. ❤️

It's been a busy and hugely productive week. Here are some highlights. Really proud and excited. 1) Co-led a #FDA listening session on the DEEs (Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathies) where the patient voice was front and center. This was the first time the FDA accepted a DEE panel.
