All I can say is ..... IT'S ABOUT BLOODY TIME! And yes I am yelling it at the top of my lungs. It has been a way too long, and way too cold winter. Spring has finally sprung. #tulips #photography #Toronto #HighPark

Photography, music, cooking, travel. I do them all, and ask for nothing more.
M3 Globular Cluster located approximately 34,000 light years away. This was the first object discovered by Charles Messier himself in 1764. Long ago, and definitely far away. I enjoy photographing these clusters over galaxies. No idea why. #photography #astrophotography #astronomy #Toronto
M106. An intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. Approximately 25 million light years from earth. It is not an easy astrophotography target, especially from Bortle 8 skies. Not easy is part of the attraction .... #photography #astrophotography #astronomy #Toronto #M106
In the words of Humphrey Bogart "Here's looking at you kid". M94 aka Croc's Eye Galaxy aka The Cat's Eye Galaxy. Your choice. Either way, eye can see you. #astronomy #astrophotography #photography #M94 #Toronto #galaxy
M 101 taken over 3 hours of a smokey (waste removal site fire) Toronto evening. Because ....why not. Nonetheless, lots of fun. #M101 #astronomy #astrophotography #photography #Toronto
M97 - Owl Nebula. Approximately 2000 light years away in the constellation Ursa Major. Taken over approximately 2.5 hours on a clear Toronto night. I definitely see the Owl! #astronomy #astrophotography #photography #Toronto #M97 #OwlNebula
IC 417 aka The Spider Nebula. Short term number of subs, due to short term clear skies. Therefore, short term entertainment. #photography #astrophotography #astronomy #spidernebula #Toronto
IC 417 aka Spider Nebula taken on the night of the full moon. It never hurts to try. I left all of the stars in. It's my attempt at seeing things as they are, and not how others want, suggest or tell me to see them. #astrophotography #astro #astronomy #seestar #toronto #spider
An image of IC 410 aka Tadpole Nebula. The Tadpoles can be seen in the upper left hand side of the nebula. This image was taken under a 77% illuminated moon. Not ideal. Such is life. Catch what you can, when you can. #astrophotography #astronomy #astro #photography #Toronto #tadpole #seestar
The Crab Nebula aka M1. Taken over 2.5 hours on a very clear Toronto night. A rare occurrence this winter. Processed in Siril. #photography #astronomy #astrophotography #crabnebula #M1 #Toronto #Canada
The Heart Nebula, IC 1366. Taken over several clear Toronto nights in late October/early November, 2025. #astronomy #photography #astrophotography #heartnebula #ic1366 #Toronto #Canada
A little bit of Heart and a lot of Soul! My version of the Soul Nebula IC 1848 taken over three sort of clear Toronto nights. #astronomy #astrophotography #photography #Toronto #Canada #soulnebula #heartnebula #ic1848
My version of the Wizard Nebula (SH2-142/NGC7380). Just over 5 hours of data taken over a couple of clear Toronto nights. #photography #astrophotography #wizardnebula #Canada #deepsky
My version of IC 5070, AKA The Pelican Nebula. Taken over 2 nights with a total time of around 3.5 hours. Half taken in Bortle 8 skies, and half taken in Bortle 3 skies. #photography #astrophotography #astronomy #Canada #IC5070 #pelicannebula
NGC 6888 aka The Crescent Nebula. Taken over 2 nights with a total imaging time of around 6 hours. #photography #astrophotography #astronomy #ngc6888 #crescentnebula #canada #deepspace
Eastern Veil Nebula - NGC 6992. Rookie at astrophotography, just trying to find my way in this incredible hobby. The technical stuff might drive me over the edge. ABL (always be learning). #photography #astrophotography #astronomy #Canada #easterveilnebula #deepskyobject
This has been done thousands of times before, but who doesn't love looking at a picture of an almost full moon! Waxing Gibbous moon (96.7%) from last night north of Toronto, Canada. AKA The Sturgeon Moon. #photography #astrophotography #moon #canada #fullmoon #beautiful #clearskies
The Western Veil, or Witch's Broom Nebula. NGC6960. Bortle 3 sky. Deep Sky stacked with minimal processing in Seestar S50. I can think of a good use for the Witch's Broom. #photography #astrophotography #Seestar50 #Canada
The Elephant Trunk Nebula aka IC1396. I could have removed many stars, but what the heck, I spent all of that time capturing them, so why not leave them there. Let's be real. Very minimal processing because I'm still a rookie. #photography #astrophotography #elephanttrunknebula #astronomy #Canada
First attempt at photographing a Nebula. M16, The Eagle Nebula. Seestar S50 and 70 minutes stacked in the Seestar app. I'm pleased with my first attempt. #photography #astrophotography #astronomy #M16 #Seestar S50 #Canada
Profile pose from a Blue Jay just prior to digging in for some lunch. Absolutely resplendent. #photography #bird #bluejay #torontobluejays #resplendent #toronto #canada #fujix-t5 #profile
Let's see if anyone still has a sense of humour. This photograph depicts our Canadian troops crossing the 49th parallel ready to invade our neighbours to the south. Who says that we need your protection, you might need ours. Wait, those are not guns they are TRIPODS #photography #humor #canada

Not perfect flowers because I live in a not perfect world. At least the sun was finally shining. #photography #toronto #canada #highpark #flowers #withering #fujix-t5
