I think an understated moment of IRON MAN is that Tony confronts Obadiah about this and asks, "are we double dealing?" Not like, "Did we arm terrorists?" But more like "Oops, that's a bad PR look." I assume Tony thought their weapons got resold versus actual marketing to terrorists but it's notable.

For me, I lost faith in a lot of corporate owned IPs with three things: Spider-Man: One More Day, The World of Darkness' 5th Edition, and Ravenloft's 5th Edition. For me, all of them were hostile to the idea of a continuous story. But the continuous story was why I cared.

Everyone loved the Witcher 3 but I feel like it lost a little bit from its predecessors. The Witcher 2 had a huge focus on politics and the moral ambiguity between the North versus Nilfgaard. The Witcher 1 had the ridiculous 80s cop movie plot of the self-righteous knights funded by...DRUGS.
