🎵 #NowSpinning 076 Bomberman Hero Original Video Game Soundtrack Pink & Blue A-Side B-Side 2LP Actually really like this soundtrack. Bomberman music always hits. I need to play more Bomberman games 😅 #Vinyl #VGMvinyl
🎮 2026 Game #123: Squirrel Stapler Actually scared me more than any other horror game I've played recently. Fun gameplay, even if a bit repetitive, and with an equally interesting, surreal story. It's short, but well worth the play. Who knew squirrels could be so terrifying 😭 6.5/10 #IndieGames
🎮 2026 Game #122: Ratshaker Love the aesthetics of this game and how weird it is, but the story is pretty surface level and it took me maybe 10 minutes to figure out the "twist". Still a fun play though, definitely more horror than expected. My arm hurts from rat shaking. 5/10 #IndieGames
🎮 2026 Game #121: Babbdi Surreal megastructure exploration game with great atmosphere and tons of secrets to find. Loved the movement, the different items you could find (shoutout to the leaf blower), and the overall bleakness even if the game as a whole could use more substance. 6/10 #IndieGames
🎮 2026 Game #120: Elementallis Basically a Zelda-like with a cool magic system. Great art and world design and I liked the puzzles too, but the gameplay can be a bit rough around the edges, especially when it comes to combat. Needs a bit more polish, but still worth a look. 6/10 #IndieGames
🎵 #NowSpinning 075 Sky Shark / 1943 White/Blue Pinwheel 1LP Love the cover reference on this one and the tunes are pretty good! Never played either game, maybe I should 😅 #Vinyl #VGMvinyl
🎮 2026 Game #119: Chop Goblins Very cool game. Simple, yet fun boomer shooter gameplay and I absolutely love the enemy designs. Just a bunch of goblins (and Dracula) running around throwing stuff at you. It's a shorter game, but definitely worth playing. 7.5/10 #IndieGames
🎮 2026 Game #118: Rental Spooky scary short indie game with a cute protag and some nice low-poly graphics. I liked the vibe of the game and the simple adventure gameplay, but do wish it had more to offer. Enjoyable, although I'll probably forget about it in a few weeks. 6/10 #IndieGames
🎮 2026 Game #117: Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery Super cute story-based puzzle game with gorgeous art and music (I bought the vinyl!) and some simple, yet fun gameplay. I liked the story too, even if it could have been fleshed out more. The Jack DLC definitely adds to it. 7/10 #IndieGames
🎮 2026 Game #116: Metal Slug 5 Better than the last one! Great boss designs, excellent art and music, and I loved the level variety and design in this one. The only thing is the slide, which is cool in concept, but actually got me killed more times than it helped 😭 7/10 #NeoGeo
🎵 #NowSpinning 074 Porter Robinson – SMILE! :D Pink 2LP Very good album and such a nice change of pace from Robinson's prior work. Seeing this live was one of my favorite concert experiences 😊 #Vinyl #Pop
🎮 2026 Game #115: Metal Slug 4 Definitely a step down from the previous games, but still a decent experience. Great art, cool boss designs, and it's just as fun to play through co-op. I do just wish it was a bit longer. 6/10 #NeoGeo
🎮 2026 Game #114: Dark Scrolls Decent gameplay marred by frustrating design. Enemies spawning on top of you, procedurally generated levels that can trap you randomly, and near unplayable co-op due to the excessive bounciness. The art/music are great, but the rest needs work. 4/10 #IndieGames
🎮 2026 Game #113: 70s-style Robot Anime Geppy-X Literally just a 70s super robot anime in video game form, with OP/ED, vocal insert tracks, and the hand-drawn aesthetic. I absolutely love all of that, it's just a shame the gameplay isn't better. Really needs better visual clarity. 6/10
🎮 2026 Game #112: Gumshoe Actually a very cool use of the zapper in a genre that you wouldn't think applies to it, but very rough around the edges with frustrating level design and a painful final boss. Took me many, many attempts to finally clear. Not an easy recommendation at all. 5/10 #NES
🎮 2026 Game #111: Urban Champion I can see the vision, but it's really just a fighting game with two types attacks and nothing else. You'll see everything the game has to offer after just a few minutes. Very basic and repetitive, but at least a bit interesting as a proof of concept. 2.5/10 #NES
🎮 2026 Game #110: Kirby's Dream Land DX Cute little colorized version of the original Kirby experience. Not a difficult game by any means, but has some fun enough platforming for its age and the music is excellent. I just love Kirby 😭 6/10 #GBC
🎵 #NowSpinning 073 Bomberman / Bomberman II Original Video Game Soundtracks Black Zoetrope 1LP Cute little Bomberman vinyl. Weirdly, the center label states 45rpm, but apparently that is not correct according to the Discogs entry. #Vinyl #VGMvinyl
🎮 2026 Game #109: TwinBee Very cute and colorful shmup with decent mechanics, but some insane ramp in the difficulty. Levels 1-3 are easy mode, level 4 is hard, and level 5 is just pain but ends with like the easiest boss fight. Very weird pacing, I wouldn't really recommend it. 5/10 #NES
🎮 2026 Game #108: Subnautica 2 (Early Access) Great follow-up to the original with some excellent QOL additions. I had a lot of fun playing through on the new multiplayer mode. Definitely feels a bit empty being in Early Access still, but I am excited to see how the full game shapes up. 7/10
🎮 2026 Game #107: Duck Hunt Very simple gameplay, but challenging enough to be fun for a bit. I think I liked the clay shooting mode more though. Ducks are my favorite animal, so it pains me to play the main modes 😭 5/10 #NES
🎮 2026 Game #106: Peak Late to the party, but thoroughly enjoyed this one. Lots of fun with friends and I love just how many little things there are to find. Great item variety, challenging maps, very rewarding gameplay. My hands were so sweaty completing it for the first time 😅 8/10 #IndieGames
🎮 2026 Game #105: Dead or Alive 6 Last Round Minimal upgrade aside and having never played DoA6 before, it's decent. The gameplay flows well, the controls are intuitive, and I loved how over the top a lot of the stages and characters are. That said, we're in 2026 and it looks like a PS3 game. 6/10
🎮 2026 Game #104: Gun Nac Really cool shmup for the era. Love the variety of weapon and bomb types, the cool boss designs, and the music too. The stages are a bit unbalanced and the pacing can be weird, but for the NES, this might just be my favorite in the genre. 7/10 #NES
