Okay so expanding on this. Two characters, naked in close proximity. Somehow they didn't go into this fully willingly, their hand was forced: maybe they both got covered in muck and they just had to clean it off, maybe one of them suggested it as a half-joke and neither one was willing to lose the game of chicken, maybe it's some kind of bullshit sci-fi decontamination protocol. Okay so off the bat you already have that tension between tenderness and masculine bravado, right. Masculinity is all about burying that shit down, sex is vulnerability and vulnerability is death.
