If you noticed my hiatus its because I moved into a new apartment, got a promotion at work and took on more freelance work than physical time can handle. 🫠 Quick context: I moved my family of 4 from a 1 bed/1 bath place to a 2 bed/3(!) bath space. Triple the square footage.
Whelp was going to buy this cozy looking autumn coloring book until I realized it was all AI. Apparently, you can buy these on Nettecom and Amazon, and it's just some company spewing out AI generated coloring books. This was 99 cents at a thrift shop, and I still wouldn't buy it...gross
Husband: I think I want to sell my fudge recipe. Is that a dumb idea? Me: Say no more.
Thrifted book haul this week, total was $10 USD 📚 it was a good day!
Anyone else or just me 🫠 Constant ink on my fingers because I hold my fountain pen like a child.
One very human experience is going to a party or gathering with a bunch of friends after a traumatic period has passed. Finally, you're laughing until your cheeks hurt, eating until your belly feels like it's going to burst, coming home and crawling into your cozy bed. Life is so weird and awesome.
My next ADHD hobby is either book binding or turning bookshelves into fantasy castles. I can feel it in the pits of my brain.

Okay, this is the first time StickerApp has pissed me off, I've used them for years, but I think it's just the representative being pissy and not listening to me. Not a reflection of StickerApp as a whole. The irony is the sticker we are arguing over is this one below LOL! Girllll, can you not...
I miss when my world was consumed by me pretending to be like Bella Swan. Them early 2010s were a trip!

I'm going thrifting soon! If I find treasures, I will share.
I mean they inspire me, I can't help to watch them!😊 Best advice for Gen Z and Gen Alpha artists as a Millennial... Use the internet for good and use it to your advantage. Don't create with the intention to capitalize (that shit will burn you out real quick). Create for fun and for YOU.
Highly recommend brain dumping with a fancy fountain pen. Top tier content.
It must be so hard to be a ghost right now because like how are you possibly going to terrify people more than they already are
I got a shiny new fountain pen today and can't stop writing and sketching random stuff. This is proof my adhd needs shiny new stuff to finally do a task I've been trying to push my brain to do for weeks.
I take comfort in knowing if the internet or technology didn't exist, I'm still an artist, and I can still be a creative machine without all of this.
3 tips as an elderly woman at the ripe age of 37: 1. Lather yourself like a slug before bed. You'll wake up with your skin looking like a babies bottom. 2. Wear a mouth guard at night because stress will eventually grind the shit out of your teeth. 3. Walk EVERY DAY movement/vitamin D is vital.
I'm in that zone again where my full-time design job and freelance work is taking over my life, and I loathhhhhhe this period. I ask myself every day why the heck did I turn my love for art into a career, I should have been a teacher or a librarian. Then, I could be creative for fun.
It's official I started the outline for my first illustrated history book! My book is on women who shaped New York State. I'll cover every region of NY. Lil' background: I went to a community college for illustration, I got a BA in graphic design and a BA in history. Time to combine it all!
These came out so cute!! I almost went with black and white. I'm I'm so glad I chose green. This cutie is stocked in both Chrissy Beanz locations in Upstate NY.
This is my favorite Webtoon at the moment, ahhh so cozy and cute! 😊 Little Hollow Café When Mimi moves from the big city to quaint Little Hollow to take over her grandmother’s café, she expects a sleepy, quiet town… but nobody warned her about the fae lurking around the corner.

"In my grandparents' time, it was believed that spirits existed everywhere...in trees, rivers, insects, wells, anything... I like the idea that we should all treasure everything because spirits might exist there, and we should treasure everything because there is a kind of life to everything."
