I've been so frustrated with how our tote bags flop and fold when they're on the hat racks or hung from a hook, but how else to display them? I had a bookseller who stuffed them with packing paper, but that made the totes lose their shape and I wasn't a fan.

After all that preparation, the weather has thwarted everyone in Winsted--and beyond--by sending us a nor'easter on Fall Foliage Festival Day. Sadly, everything is canceled that we were looking forward to this week.

We are so disappointed (dang weather!) but if you haven't seen yet, the fall foliage festival was canceled due to the incoming nor'easter. 60 mph winds are no joke. We'll rearrange a time for Kristan Higgins to come to the store in the new year.
