“It is certain, in any case, that ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have.” ― James Baldwin

Donald Trump says, "I don't like this toothpaste being in this tube" and sets a rolling pin on the table. SCOTUS: It's too early to make a decision on the toothpaste. We don't know what's going to happen. Trump rolls the pin across the tube, emptying it. SCOTUS: Eh, what can you do?

Just in case you thought maybe Trump wasn't stupid enough to say "Mission Accomplished" about his Iran War, he is. He even references Dubya's mistake in saying that *as he says it.*

A Trump post on "Truth" Social with a composite image showing Trump in the center, an aircraft carrier, fighter jets, missiles flying, and flags waving behind him, burning wreckage in the foreground, George W. Bush on the left next to a sign saying "Mission Not Accomplished 2001-2021" and Ayatollah Hosseini Khamenei on the right next to a sign saying "Mission Accomplished 2026."

Trump is upset that Pirro dropped the charges against David Hearn, and it's an interesting question why. Using the DOJ to attack political enemies is bad, but this is weirder than that. Hearn is not a political enemy. Trump is willing to use the DOJ to destroy a man just to buck up a lie.

Trump & Hegseth just wanted to kill people. Especially people of color, culture, & need. There was never any defendable reason for blowing up these boats & claiming drug trafficking. Hundreds are dead with no evidence of narcotics. Full stop. Test these 2 for drug use. www.ms.now/rachel-maddo...

Trump administration’s deadly boat strikes fail to reduce cocaine trafficking in U.S.

Some might argue that if the strikes curtail the drug trade, then it will be worth it. Except that’s wrong, too.

Huge amounts of capital are going into environmentally disastrous thinking machines on the premise they will pay off by taking away jobs. Implications are serious, so we should definitely leave this up to the guy who gleefully took food and medicine away from hundred of thousands of poor people.

Two of the principles laid out in "The Art of the Deal" are: don't appear too eager for a deal; and, be prepared to walk away from a deal. By rushing to announce a (still being negotiated) deal with Iran on his birthday, Trump signaled that he's eager for a deal and unlikely to walk away.

Remember when Trump levelled the East Wing without so much as a nod from Congress, and we were all wrong to complain about that because he was gonna build a beautiful ballroom in its place without a dime of taxpayer money? Well, ha ha, suckers. It's bait-and-switch time once again.

I don't know about you, but I think a U.S. Senator arguing for ignoring the constitution should be grounds for a recall. If you don't like what the constitution says, amend it. This guy took a solemn oath to support and defend it, and with this tweet he's breaking that oath.

Tweet from Mike Lee @BasedMikeLee that reads:

The Constitution isn’t a national suicide pact

It doesn’t compel us to encourage illegal immigration with universal birthright citizenship

I remember in 2021 when Joe Kent retweeted a video someone posted of a COVID isolation camp the Nisqually tribe were building, and claimed it was evidence "the gov will & can put ppl in a camp, fear is king."

Joe Kent retweet dated Sep 29, 2021. The original tweet reads:
Poster found a Covid quarantine zone under construction on highway 702 between Eatonville and Roy in Washington state. Looks like the banner says “Nisqually active covid quarantine site.” Looks like it is located where the Nisqually Indian Tribe has land.
Joe added:
This quarantine camp will serve 2 main purposes-

Show that the gov will & can put ppl in a camp, fear is king.

Allow the Dems to ballot harvest in a red rural county - who can’t quarantine at home ? The homeless in Seattle & Olympia.

Dilute red votes & drive fear.

After COVID, we learned that you can't shut off and restart oil wells like flipping a switch. With Hormuz shut down, how long do we have before wells are shut down that will take years to bring back online?

So, I've listened very carefully to this, and I think I understand the issue, and I have an idea. The problem is, we need to have the Strait of Hormuz open to ship traffic. And, from what I've heard, we've destroyed all their mine-laying ships. 1/3
