Wifey was lamenting after seeing a cross stitch design circulating that turned out to be AI slop, so she had no way of actually making the artwork. I offered to recreate it as a watercolour instead, it gave me a chance to play around with flowers, adjusting the designs and giving it my own flair.
A friend commissioned this set for @tizahdergie.bsky.social I've genuinely missed doing a nice focused head shot artwork like this, so this has been a wonderful palate cleanser from my recent animation work.
On my long weekend holiday I did quite a few crafts, I made Kumihimo, I studied and practised calligraphy brushwork. I even hosted my own panel on Watercolours, doing a presentation on Ken Sugimori. But on the last day I got to do basic Ukiyo-E, or woodblock printing.
A lil animation I've completed for @kaylare.bsky.social of what has been dubbed the lizard lick. I made several variations, and Kay insisted that this one contained the appropriate level of silly.
Wifey loved using a lil comic to react whenever she found some good reference materials for me to use in my work. So I made a version of her OC expressing her "feelings" in this animation. Please see comment below to help me find the original artist so I can credit them.

So I made these a month ago for when me and wifey went on a Cruise ship from Iceland. I placed them on magnet sheets so we could hang them on our door. It made our room easy to find in those long corridors. Although wifey found a kid trying to steal one from the door at one point.

I added a moogle to this page. In this watercolour set the red half pan was low quality and wouldn't blend well into a purple. So I lifted the purples and pinks from a purple pencil in the set. I like how limiting myself in materials leads to imaginative solutions. #finalfantasy #moogle #chocobo

So this is an acyrlic painting on canvas I made as a gift for @icyeclipse.bsky.social Peeps on my server knew of my distress when my matt topcoat smeared my blacklines all over the top of the painting. So I had to repaint the entire thing again. #pokemonart #sylveon
