Overspecialization in healthcare has resulted in folks with complex medical conditions often need to figure out their own diagnosis, then convince primary doctors it's not imagined, and then find that one specialist that treats the condition to confirm the diagnosis. We're doing this backwards.

People should never be expected to prove their allergies by being exposed to an allergen so a physician can document the reaction. This is asking the patient to risk their life, or other permanent consequences, just to have a life saving medication approved, because rich executives want more $$$.
