A lil' reminder. Lucifer is not inherently violent. He would not have killed sinners left and right if he didn't have his limitation. He punched Adam when he was about to kill Charlie and after that he was being an annoying lil' shit.

When we do finally get a reunion, I think we're heading for emotional apologies from Luci rather then Satan being struck down. Especially if the sins are supposed to be viewed as a broken family rather then a backstabbing royal court. But who knows! Hopefully we'll get crossover content soon! (6/6)

There's possibly evidence for Satan's anger at Lucifer. @lucienoctia.bsky.social once pointed out that the crack in the door over Lucifer's symbol is at the perfect height for Satan to have punched it. It's also interesting that he chose to sit in front rather then actually taking the throne. (5/6)

More than anything, I think Satan's primary motivation is anger, which feels a lot more representative for the sin of Wrath then envy for Lucifer's position, greed for more power, or pridefully wanting to be recognized as the strongest. (4/6)

I got an impression that Satan is more of an 'oldest sibling' figure that's having to step into a 'parental' role. He's filling the gap Lucifer left behind and dealing with his anger at the abandonment by trying to scrub Lucifer's presence. In a very 'we didn't need you anyway!!' kind of way (2/6)

I don't know if this is a spicy hellaverse take or not, but I don't think Satan is power hungry at all and I definitely don't think we're heading to a scenario where Lucifer comes back and 'puts him in his place'. Satan is the sin of Wrath and most of his actions probably stem from that. (1/6)
