Gonna bump this. With mom out of surgery she's dealing with tremendous amounts of pain. She's taken her meds so that'll kick in slowly over time and I'm helping with what I can. I'm looking to pick up some essentials like water\juice, ice pack, bandages, etc. Anything helps ❤️

New Super Mario Bros. Wii contains unused Hint Movies where the players play badly and then die. While these were likely recorded before the levels were changed so the inputs don't match up, it is humorous to imagine them being actual intentional hints on what not to do.

obviously the compliance is bad either way but i do understand that lawmakers have kinda tied their wrists about it. if discord had the choice not to implement it they would simply not implement it. sucks n blows either way, contact your reps

Here's the main points from the site page. This is how Discord is going to implement it. While it sucks they're doing this, they're pretty much covering their asses to get any governments off their backs. The blame should still be put on those stupid ID laws.

TLDR •More than 90% of you won’t be asked to confirm your age. Since our last post about teen safety, we've had to launch age assurance solutions in more places, including Texas and Brazil. Laws requiring age assurance are expanding around the world. Rather than waiting to be told how to do it, we’re launching our own privacy-preserving approach: one that reflects your feedback. •You can check your age group status at User Settings > Account Status. We've estimated your age group automatically from account signals like how long your account has existed or the kinds of servers you're a part of. We don’t look at your messages, calls, or other content. We're launching this over the course of this week, so it may take a few days to reach your account. •If you're in the adult age group (18+), nothing changes. If you're in the teen age group (13-17), you can keep messaging friends, joining voice calls, and participating in non-age-restricted servers, but with additional safety protections that block age-restricted content, spaces, and settings. Otherwise, Discord works the same. More on this below. •We've added several new ways to confirm your age, including some that don't require an ID or selfie (including credit cards). If you're an adult but weren't automatically placed in the adult age group, you can confirm your age group at any time by going to User Settings > Account Status. More on the new options below.

I just read through it and from what I could gather, they actually taken in some feedback. For the most part, they're going to implement it to where it doesn't require selfies or ID cards. This isn't something to cause any of y'all to nuke your Discord accounts or go into mass hysteria.

Discord finally confirmed for real when they're rolling out age verification service-wide (tomorrow) and I've not seen a single person make a peep about it

ughh I feel so embarrassed about some small things I did at the con that might have been slightly annoying or faux pas "= = Having the "first con" ribbon might not have helped my look... i'm gonna do better and be more prepared next time!!

"Cyan" was obviously a pseudonymous username at first—one made rather impromptu I might add—and yet, nowadays it feels just as much of a name as my legal one, if not more than that Isn't it magical that I chose a name, with intent and meaning, that's all mine? And that I identify so much with it?
