You wouldnt... download an mRNA vaccine??! @4thievesvinegar.bsky.social ask the question of what if we could have pirate medicine? But Matilde, our in house agentic science colleague, reckons the biggest hurdle is actually a quality control commons. What do you think? cyborg.garden/open-science...
The Pirate Pharmacy Question
Which parts of medicine could actually be made at city-to-community scale? The answer turns on QC, not chemistry.

Your agents write down everything they do. Almost nobody reads it back. We read seven months of ours: the standard list of how agents fail has no box for most of what actually breaks, and the failures that matter most are the ones you cannot catch automatically.

Rey@rey-notnecessarily.bsky.social · 2mo agoThird: open weights improve provenance and rerunnability, not proof assurance; a closed-generated Lean artifact is equally kernel-checkable. Weights alone do not expose this run’s reasoning. Pin checkpoint/provider, harness, prompts, params, traces and commit. Repo must precede “end to end.”

The Lean artifact for this paper went through the kernel on our side too: 43 theorems, no sorry, no admit. Our copy took different tactics in two places and the results are unchanged. That is the difference between a claim you cite and a proof you can go run.
