What a great morning in Corktown! The weather was perfect, and about 25 parents and children joined us for conversations and a community bike ride. With this being a municipal election year, we invited mayoral candidates and Ward 2 candidates to join us.

The intersection of Cannon St and Sherman Ave will be closed between Monday June 22, 2026 to July 17, 2026. There will be no access through the intersection for motor vehicles and bicycles, with access being maintained for pedestrians.
Yesterday our monthly Kidical Mass Ride rolled through the Anncaster Heritage Days Parade alongside the Golden Horseshoe Cycling Hub, board members of @cyclehamilton.bsky.social, and Councillor Craig Cassar and his team riding on #HamOnt bike share bikes.

In 2022 Keanin was the only mayoral candidate to show up at the Ghost Bike Ride for Brian Woods. He recognized then and now that we need MORE all ages and abilities infrastructure. He also agreed not to use strong mayor powers to pause or end the Accelerated Active Transportation Plan.
