‘Knip’ op Catharijnesingel kan in september worden aangelegd: rechter geeft groen licht

De veelbesproken ‘knip’ op de Catharijnesingel mag voorlopig doorgaan. De rechtbank heeft de bezwaren van onder meer Hoog Catharijne, Stichting Centrum Management Utrecht (CmU), SHV en Grand Hotel Karel V afgewezen. Daardoor hoeft de gemeente niet langer te wachten en kan de verkeersmaatregel naar verwachting in september worden uitgevoerd.

Even after all these years, I still had never tried an electric cargo bike, only analog ones. Today, we changed that by renting an Urban Arrow to take random junk to a dump. It’s a nifty thing!

This thing moored in Utrecht. It’s a combination of a river cruise and bike rental so that you can zip around the Netherlands while the ship is in port.

Utrecht being the cycling capital is not a coincidence or historical path dependency. It is a series of conscious political decisions to make the city more livable and attractive. ⬇️
