Library dragons enjoying a read aloud. My head canon is that they are reading cook books. Fantasy is probably a pretty basic genre for them. #dragons #kidlit #illustration
I’ve been thinking about groups that meant everything, then ended. Not sadly exactly, just... what? Too big to stay in one place? These pages I'm working on follow Gerbil (from Incredible Doom) walking through Evol House after everyone’s gone. Five WIP pages: www.patreon.com/post...
Happy #portfolioday My name is Cyrus and I create cards, coloring books, and zines while looking for illustration agents with the goal of working on early picture and chap books. When not illustrating stories I show paintings, and am breaking into spoken word poetry Portfolio: CyrusCreatesArt.Com

Joining a poetry workshop is the best thing I have ever done for my creativity. I don’t think any of them follow me here but wow do I adore this community of passionate and creative thinkers.

It’s always the pieces I least expect to sell thst end up finding the perfect home at the end of the night. I sketched this piece last night for a personal project, only put it out last minute after my market was set up- and another artist vendor adopted it in the last 10 minutes!

Work date with the incredible @intuitivedarling.bsky.social We met in a coffee shop, had our wedding reception in a coffee shop, and built our business in a coffee shop. Today felt like a second home that needed a little dusting 💛
I picked up two previously abandoned, very different but equally enjoyable illustrations to work on this week. #illustration #kidlitart #middlegrade
I need you to understand that you only get to make good art by making A LOT of bad art first. I promise you. The good art will come.
Quick brag- my spouse @intuitivedarling.bsky.social was in her first book fair for #WorldReadAloudDay. She read from her poetry book and facilitated a round table discussion. I had to watch the discussion and reading from the booth so I missed most of it, but I saw a very engaged crowd 📖

My Sassy Sapphic Christmas card Design is now available for purchase! I loved my doodle from this weekend so much that with the speed of a u-hauling lesbian and the might of a butch’s carabiner, I was able to add the design to my shop today 😅 #christmascards www.etsy.com/listing/4411...
Some sapphic wintery illustrations done with marker. I think they turned out really cute! I’ve been creating a lotttt of digital art for work lately and playing with a more tactile medium helps balance my brain a little, which helps me return to a flowy state. #illustration #markerart
