Kicking off the second day of #BoxingGorillaDay, we have a continuing match between Jim Bo'Nana & Boogruk. While Boog is probably one of the most easy going, and friendly fighters in my cast of 'rillas...he's all business when it comes to the ring. While formidable, Jim is no real match for 'ruk.

First, however, I'd like to share something that I've been meaning to finish for ages as a Thank You to @daboz.bsky.social for championing Boxing Gorilla Day since day one. Chase Lovepunch, AKA 'The Pink Pummeler', can be a bit of a pushover when it comes to boxing. He's not especially skilled, and doesn't have the best track record when it comes to wins. But, hit him in the face enough, and he'll eventually get PO'd enough to land one good shot, as Slugger found out.

Moving onward to an ongoing #boxinggorilladay match between Bozrilla and 'Big Daddy' Marcus, that's been going on for...I forget at this point. Regardless, Boz can't seem to get any headway when it comes to delivering punches lately, as Big Daddy has the upper hand.

So starting off my yearly contributions to #boxinggorilladay , My first two boxing gorillas. Who're at the same time, yearly rivals, Slugger & Bruiser. Slugger can be bit of an underdog at times, but he holds his own in the ring...Meanwhile, Bruiser is the self proclaimed 'King' of gorilla boxing.

Continually coming up with new characters for the occasion (here we have, from left to right, Chase Lovepunch, Brent, Jim Bo'Nana and Frostbyte) and tons of cracking fight pics, @daboz.bsky.social has been one of BGD's staunchest supporters these past 10 years. Remarkably, we're now less than a month away from Boxing Gorilla Day 2026; which, for the first time, will be taking place only on BlueSky during the last weekend in July - Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th. Kicking off Krampus day 2024 on Bluesky ...least the one where I remembered to actually post something on here (sorry 2023) with my Krampus Bruiser/Burly. I honestly didn't realize I'd drawn him QUITE so much, this isn't even all of his pictures I came across...but they're my favs of him.
