Went to look for the big man amiibo on the Nintendo site earlier

I’m glad the people can now experience the 2nd best Mario game in Mario sunshine through NSO (Ok maybe not 2nd but easy top 5)
And now, a lesson on CEO-ing from Matthew Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive:
The DK challenge was a neat look into how Nintendo might want to do “achievements” but the limited time thing is dumb. PSA you have until 1 SEP.
New Virtual about games are out! I thought Zero Racers fell into the neat novelty category that alot of VB games fall into, but D-Hopper was great! Really cool adventure platformer that uses the 3D effects well but is a solid game outside of the VB gimmicks.
The NSO calendar didn’t need to go so hard for July damn
If you'd like some stats on this, check out @dringo.bsky.social 's post from last September, which includes: "According to Circana, 18 – 24-year-olds only accounted for 3% of video game hardware purchases in the year ending July 2025, which is down from 10% for the same period ending July 2022."
Are video game consoles in trouble?
We look at the data and doubt surrounding the future of dedicated games machines

To be clear, the market being older and younger people not taking their place *is* a five-alarm fire that no one is noticing.
PlayStation: We hate you Xbox: We hate you AND ourselves Nintendo: The Rhythm Heaven Groove game is available now
As I’ve gotten a bit older and more reflective, I’ve started occasionally asking creators I admire to sign their games. Today’s PlayStation disc news really hits home thinking that, in the near future, they’ll have nothing left to scribble on.
What makes PlayStation different than Steam once they go full digital? An exclusive maybe every year? Paying for online? I can’t help but feel just having a retail presence keeps them top of mind for people just out and about even IF those people were already digital only. Seems so short sighted imo
I hope everyone remembers this week is really about Pictonico, not Jimmy Bond or Mina the Mouse. Spend your time wisely!
Today I was forced to do something terrible. Me or the flower she said. My hands we tied and I took the life from a friend and ally I grew to appreciate over the last few months. I hope you had a good life, buddy. RIP Talking Flower 2026-2026
25m replica with rolling barrels and I’ll give them $500
LEGO Donkey Kong set coming soon
My definitely probably not true conspiracy theory is Nintendo made Mario Kart World $80 so everyone would get used to more expensive games then they announce games like Yoshi, Tomodachi Life, Splatoon, Rhythm heaven, etc at cheaper prices and seem so cheap by comparison. It’s a psyop I tell ya!
Star Fox (Switch 2 physical) up for preorder on Nintendo Store ($59.99) buff.ly/r1omUTa Digital is $49.99 buff.ly/k3JBlNK
Them doing a Star Fox 64 remake in the same year they do an Ocarina of Time remake is especially funny because they did -exactly this same thing before.-
I am liking not loving Mouse: P.I. For Hire so far. Love the presentation and moment to moment gameplay! I do, however, think each level drags on a tad too long though and that added with lots of repeat enemies can make the game feel a little samey during longer play sessions. It has charm though!
I have played alot of RACCOIN this week and I had a really good time with it! If you liked Balatro, you will feel right at home with this one. Just think instead of Poker hands making the giant numbers appear on your screen, they are coming from creating chaotic combos in a coin pusher machine!
Got my first win in RACCOIN! This game is going to be pretty sticky I fear.
Really enjoyed the Mario Wonder DLC. Didn’t do any of the multiplayer stuff, just the single player challenges and new bosses and that got a good ~5 hours of of me. For anyone who thought Mario Wonder didn’t push back against them enough there are some pretty solid challenges for you at the end here
I did a game jam with @xanedev.bsky.social and @ JoLunXIII (twitter) to make a game for the @play.date. We decided to take a couple weeks to polish it up and just released the finalized version! (Link to the game in the comments) #pixelart #1bit #playdate #indiegame #roguelike youtu.be/Uq7PL0oikSg

I really enjoyed Kingdoms of the Dump. The trash theming of the game had me worried would just end up being a gimmick and that it would grow old after a few hours, but it actually ended up being a consistently great foundation for a really funny clever RPG world.
