Legal issues surrounding Ms. Pac-Man can be traced back to Namco's Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga "Class of 1981" reunion cabinet released in 2000. The GCC alumni saw this as breaching their original agreements with Namco, so an arbitration was set between 2002-2007 that covered future releases of the game.

Have you ever imagined what Paul Neave's infamous Flash fan remake of Pac-Man would look like if it were a 404 page? Before the days of Google's T-Rex minigame, this modified version of the iconic game was made for the website of design agency Blue Fountain Media.

Some Flash materials for official Pac-Man media contain artwork of the characters that have been drawn using the program's own tools. Because Flash uses vector graphics, this drawing of Pac-Man - for example - can be displayed in as high of a resolution as the user is able to zoom in.

Similarly to PC and console games, it was not uncommon to sample paid mobile games in the 2000s through their respective demo versions. This video below shows demos for Pac-Man Plus and Pac-Man in action. Players had 30 seconds in each game to rack up as many points as they can.

Alongside downloadable goodies for the game and your computer, the website for パックマンのデスクトップ大作戦 (Pac-Man's Desktop Operation) also featured an online demo of its "Pac-Athlon" minigame. This demo is the only official Pac-Man web browser game to run on Shockwave, the predecessor to Adobe Flash.
