Watched ‘The End of Oak Street’ last night, which was a fun dinosaur romp ( if slight on plot ). However, it slightly irked me that given the 1982 setting, not a single person commented on the fact that the dinosaurs had feathers. In the 80s, the ‘feathered dinosaur’ theory wasn’t mainstream.
Actually, I had to go to the shops to buy milk so I guess I did do something.
Last bank holiday Monday of the year and in traditional style, I’ll enjoy doing absolutely nothing.
It’s very common where a monster would be perfectly fine if the humans just fecked off. King Kong is the best example. The wonderful Hammer film ‘The Abominable Snowman’ is another. Baragon… poor Baragon. Frankenstein‘s monster, too ( but not the version who beat up Baragon ).

The combo of being A: The day after a storm B: Autumn C: A bank holiday weekend means the local cycle lane has vanished under a massive pile of leaves. Very nice crunch as I cycled along this stretch.
