Cheeky little Swallow captured a few weeks back on a local reservoir. They're little rockets, this particular individual was frequently flying between some nearby fields then back over a patch of reeds alongside the reservoir. I just managed to get a shot as it was on a return run to the water. 🐦🪶

Early start at the West Midlands All Dayer, few of my highlights included marsh harrier, sedge warbler & my first Kingfisher of the year. (Cant believe it took me till September to see one). Some unbelievable sightings logged by the team already, cant wait to see what we finish on! #Ladywalknr 🪶

Puffins are absolute speedy little rockets. These were captured earlier this year at Bempton Cliffs as they flew over the ocean before returning back to the cliff face 🐦🪶🌊

I love the Summer... But I cant do the heat. I melt and burn. 🫠 Bring on the winter, if Im too cold I can throw on another layer and get on with my day. It also means you can get photos like these featuring beautiful frost covered scenery, allowing your subject to pop from the background ❄️🪶

Recently went on a walk in hopes of finding Redstart (may have found one 😜) but ended up photographing these awesome Swallow as they flew low above the ground hunting for insects 🪶📸🐦‍⬛

The beauty of the common tern. ❤️ During the Summer months you'll find them gracefully gliding over bodies of water in search of food but the real fun starts when they start flying together, putting on displays in the sky. 🪶

The first time I ever saw Brent Geese was on Anglesey, chilling on a beach feeding amongst the rocks. But whilst in Norfolk I finally saw them in numbers. Its the metalhead in me, loving anything dark but I love how these look: dark bodies, slightly grey wings & white on their necks for contrast.

One from the archives, a tawny owlet in the forest. Embarrassingly I was walking down a path when I first spotted the bird but mistakenly thought it was just a child's toy left atop a post. I did a double take only then realising what I was actually looking at. Not my smartest moment. 🤣 🪶 #owl

Gannets are big beautiful seabirds who make their home on the side of cliffs, going out to sea to hunt and feed. 🪶 You can find thousands of them at RSPB Bempton Cliffs which has one of the largest (if not the largest) gatherings of gannets on the mainland. See them all here: youtu.be/T6oZ4h022Jo
