Before I joined Damsels, I only knew Maijai and Rio from a workshop, and Lyndon who took my headshots. I had never spoken to Taya. These people took a massive chance on me, some random student in the year below whose performance work with them was brief. I was so nervous.

I will always be grateful for this story. I hope I did these themes justice. I hope I was entertaining. I hope I made you cry. I hope you love Agatha as much as I do.

And over the campaign, she grew, fell, grew, fell, and grew again. She’s such a complex, troubled, problematic character, but I hope I handled her with grace and decorum. As someone who has dealt with similar things she has, my girl was a wild ride from start to beginning.

My big emo thread has been posted already, but one thing I will add today is that this finale is my magnum opus as a sound designer as well as a milestone as a performer. Because I fell into that job by necessity, I never consider it a skill of mine, but I am pretty proud of this one.
