As a physician-scientist, I find this unethical. A CDC-funded RCT in a country with a *high hepatitis B burden* will delay WHO-recommended birth vaccination for some newborns «to study morbidity, mortality and long-term outcomes». U.S. taxpayers are paying 1,6 mil for this. 🧪
