Michigan Attorney General. I love my kids, wife, cats, and country. But not Ohio State U.

Today’s landmark Michigan Supreme Court ruling is a major win for every Michigan consumer. The Consumer Protection Act can once again do what it was designed to do: protect people from deceptive and predatory business practices.

While our case is focused on staffing data, there is a real human cost to the defendants' choices and their failure of care. The consequences of chronic understaffing placed vulnerable residents at unnecessary risk of harm, violated their rights, and resulted in numerous injuries.

We've heard these wild claims from Donald Trump before, and the facts haven't changed. Michigan's elections are secure, accurate, and trusted by voters across the state. Any effort to undermine them will be met with a strong defense.

The federal government cannot just cancel entire programs on a whim. This ruling puts an end to these unlawful grant terminations and protects money that rightfully belongs to Michigan programs and residents.

As Democrats, we're united by our commitment to protecting people's rights, defending democracy, and electing leaders who will fight for our shared values. Thank you, MI-11 Dems, for recognizing me with the "Chiming in for Justice" award at your Big Tent BBQ this afternoon.

Great to be in Kalamazoo last night with so many supporters of Julie Rogers. Julie is exactly the kind of leader we need in the State Senate. She's a thoughtful public servant with a real record of standing up for Michigan families.

The President has now spent an entire decade trying to convince you that our elections are unsecure and illegitimate. He is now just doing it from the most visible stage in the world: the White House.
