Having spent the pandemic effectively locked out of Australia in Japan I have questions about it. Japan didn't lock down internally, has much higher density, and an older population and suffered lower per capita deaths & infections than Australia. I think most of Australia rejects considering this.

Honestly I think Dropbox only gained usage because of a few things; Moving data in and out of work networks in ways that IT would rather you did not. People not understanding the basic functions of the operating systems they already used. Cloud fetishism. I used it mostly for the first reason.

This is not a solicitation for tech support or alternatives, they all suck ass
One of the things I find most difficult trying to do a complex hardware and software project using LLMs is the psychological exhaustion of trying to keep up with what the machines can do or do badly or break. It's a great deal of ceaseless supervision.

It's oddly very endearing to see two prominent Australian poasters who dwell together having a discussion of aromatic recipe acceptability on main.
There's no way that only the chosen few closed US companies in bed with the US government skills have exclusive access to this tech. (unless you're a US corporate fascist enthusiast)

Bloody hell the weird bleating about an emergency alert test in Australia is alarmingly sad. Where I reside in Japan the physical warning siren system gets exercised every day at 5pm, the earthquake one gets a test at least annually and real alerts go off for every typhoon and major storm.

Given this is not an academic speculation, but actually a thing the USA has done to its perceived adversaries. I don't understand why this is tolerated as a risk by any org outside of the US.

I think NT is the right place for Australian DCs for proximity to SE Asia where the real markets are (Australia is a pissant little population (which should be double IMHO)). I think powering it with gas is a bone headed idea - it should be solar and batteries.
