Amber Weatherwarning is a foxy villainess in a gothic steampunk fantasy novel.

I hope someone is thinking of Vanessa Williams tonight. 😎 🟡⚫️
The woman doing that 'Making Memories' advert on the radio about 'summer savings' sounds as if she has a forced rictus grin on her face as she lives the hell of entertaining small children in the summer holidays 😆😆 She will be hitting the valium shortly.
Why do so many people insist on replicating the aberrant apostrophe in Liverpool John Moores? I only saw this error for the first time about a week ago, for obvious reasons, and I swear over half-a-dozen people have made the same mistake since, even in print. Stop it!
Whenever I imagine my childhood in the 1970s, I think of it as really sunny, with mute, jumpy footage full of glitches, accompanied by the whirrrrrrrr of a vintage home movie camera, even though my parents didn't have one then. Is this normal for Gen X who have seen a lot of TV involving flashbacks?
Leicester Forest East used to be a tolerable, if never glamorous, service station. It has now become a cross between a zoo and a Ballardian post-apocalyptic nightmare. Everything is a branded 'outlet' and the only tea you can get is worse than whatever Arthur Dent obtained from the Nutri-Matic. 😵😵
I literally don't understand these short videos where people move their mouths to the dialogue of a film or TV show or to the words of a song. I mean, what's the point? Some things online I can tell are not for me but I still 'get' them. This seems completely pointless. I don't know why they do it.
Railway clerk, housewife, lorry driver, housewife (and part-time in haberdasher's for a while). Not confident.
Enough “what would you do on the commune questions” If you got sent back 100 years and were given your grandparent’s job, what are you doing?
Rewatching 'Babylon 5' has made me realise how much handwash dispensers look like Ambassador Kosh.
Blankety-Blank fans to mount a letter-writing campaign to the BBC, before resigning themselves to fifteen years of audios and original novels too broad and deep for the small-screen gameshow.
I noticed yesterday that the lyrics of Noughties pop classic 'Keep Your Head Up' by the erstwhile trio Girls Can't Catch include the word 'romantasy', approximately 15 years before it became an 'in thing' for Young Adult fiction. youtu.be/gI6KF_L3OYo?...

Next week: Andy Burnham announces a Government outpost on the moons of Jupiter will be up and running by the end of the year. It's... Number 10 Io!
In a parallel universe, 'Spacehead' was the Primitives' followup single to 'Crash', had loads of daytime Radio 1 airplay and got to No.8. youtu.be/8BjJvCfCoIA?...

Doing a tentative rewatch (not every episode, just the important ones), and I've got these to hand to fill in the gaps. I've not seen it in 30 years! @andylaneauthor.bsky.social Did you ever get a one-volume reprint or was the page count always going to be prohibitive?
I've often wondered what kind of 'fight' the Pet Shop Boys were watching in 'Left To My Own Devices'. A back-street brawl? A professional heavyweight bout? Or just a sharp argument in a pub? #popmaster
Trying to get a PC to talk to a new wireless HP printer makes me want to go back to quill and parchment. I am seriously ready to throw this thing out of the window. How do people do it without their stress levels going off the scale?
One of the comments on the BBC advert... presumably this refers to what happens on EastEnders when someone has a really good look at something?...
What on earth is all this pompous nonsense before the Footballing? It's not the bloody Superbowl. That woman screeching the American anthem brought all the local cats to my front door.

All the best 'Babylon 5' arc episodes are called things like 'A Long Dark Walk Through Empty Places In The Dreams Of The Shadow Of The Night' 😆😆
Old 'Would I Lie To You' about a psychologist called Nicola Clayton teaching Ben Miller how to talk to crows led me to this article, and the name of her colleague 😆😆
The TV Quiz World Cup begins again on Monday 13th on BBC2. All three of the first group games are back-to-back. And at a reasonable time! 😁
🚨NEW EPISODE!🚨 We are joined by the fantastic @danblythewriter.bsky.social to discuss his second #DoctorWho New Adventure, Infinite Requiem. on.soundcloud.com/9CR5jb6GAcS9...
541: Infinite Requiem (New Adventure #36)
We've now featured around half of the New Adventures novels on the Power of 3, as we speak to the writers (where possible) about their books which were too broad and too deep for television. In today
