This is why I’m waiting on a commission for a new avatar instead of using the one that I made and then immediately felt awful about using AI. I realized I need to walk the walk and support art, at the cost of inconvenience and $$ I will be rewarded with something made by a human. That’s worth it.

You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.
Today I had to set a clear boundary with a roommate who had abused a privilege and favour I had in place for them. Me setting this boundary will inconvenience and cause trouble for them. I’m a ppl-pleaser so this was challenging in a big way. I am slowly learning to be an advocate for me.
