I saw one of this series in person and it felt so much like being in a forest. So good...has stuck with me for years

Career thoughts: The line between tragedy and acceptance is often mere repetition.
Heard today: "Tokyo is the Montreal of Japan" "Curry is just poutine with rice instead of fries."
Found these amazing Hollow Knight chalk drawings in the local park. Go Moe and Amy.

Thimbleweed Park 2 on Steam
Agents Ray and Reyes are investigating a murder at the Mansion. In a spoof of a classic whodunit, everyone is a suspect and the murderer will be confronted…... If you can find them. Not really a seque...

I treasure this dismissal by an academic of my book about prison privatisation, based on being the official who did it: "Mr LeVay may well have a great deal of otherwise unavailable firsthand information on the subject but he entirely lacks a theoretical framework". Keep the peasants off the lawn!

🎶Bandwagon🎶 has the MOST ART & LEVEL DESIGN I have ever done for a project! It's such a blast to go ALL OUT on this, and we still have a LOT to do! The upcoming playtest will let us learn a lot from y'all, and will help us improve the game until release! store.steampowered.com/app/3555740/...
It's hard to describe the color scheme of this cafe. Very handmade pastel tie-dye? That pink leather bench is so specific.
A thought that keeps me going is that video games can run on anything. And humans love to play. Given those two truths, I remain hopeful.

There is a style of writing that uses copious references to real world facts or historical figures to add Authenticity and Truth to otherwise generic writing. What irritates me is how well this works for most readers.

I have this picture hanging on my wall. Amazing art. Wonderful wonderful artist. You should play the game ♥️
Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit just released today on Steam, Switch 1 & 2, Xbox and PlayStation! Getting to bring ideas we couldn't fit into the original game to life was incredibly rewarding and I will always cherish the experience 🧡. Check it out! s.team/a/2021960 Hope you enjoy it!
A giant named Johnny Appleseed. He's swallowed a seed and apples fruit like tumors on his skin. He is barefoot. The wood deep in his bones makes him grow and grow. He runs from you, slowly, his tears turning the ground to mud behind him.
Yeah! I I used this built-in edge detection shader for A Short Hike: docs.unity3d.com/530/Document... If you want to peek at the code for it, you can download the shader from this forum post: discussions.unity.com/t/image-effe... I used it SobelDepth mode - see the "fragDCheap" HLSL function.

idk I think that if you *say* that games discourse keeps repeating itself and forgetting the past, but you don’t bother citing all the people who’ve covered the same topic before, you’re part of the problem too
That image at the top is the first picture I ever drew using a pressure sensitive tablet back in the mid '90s. I was convinced I would never have a job in games again due to the death of pixel art. Yet somehow here we are 30 years later.

Seasons fly by like a broken time machine. Blink. Another summer gone. Two kids ride by on a scooter. Maybe today is their last forever day.
