The London response to this smart idea is as frustrating as it predictable. One, there's no need to be upset that you may have to travel to Manchester occasionally. And two, does it not occur to people that you could hire people from the North to work in the North? Very good piece from Liam

Speaking with a friend and one of the most depressing things is that this powerful new technology is coming for the sectors where human beings are at their most passionate and creative - why do we want to reduce that? Why not focus it on being a force for good in solving global problems. Naive sure.
Speaking to voters in Gorton and Denton, there's no love for Starmer. Many in what was a Labour stronghold feel betrayed by the government. One man could win many of them back to the party, however.
