I finally have a watch/fitness tracker again. It has a lot of features but my favorite is the vibration alarm. It wakes me up in the morning and it doesn’t put me into a bad mood like my phone alarm. 10/10 for vibration alarms. Definitely recommend no matter the device.

I like my new pants. They fit well and look nice. Still have to get past the new sensory feels. I feel like if they were an inch shorter I’d like them more but then again there would always be something.

So I’ve had hip pain for months. Like I’m in tears getting off my couch and sometimes just standing. We recently bought a new couch because the old one was small doe 4 people. It’s a firm couch and our other one was soft. It’s been a few weeks now and the pain is gone. No hip pain. It was the couch!

So apparently Apple weather is not reporting accurate air quality for my area. It says it’s at a 2, but there is an air quality warning. I’ve checked other websites and they say it’s moderate air pollution at best.

Canadian arts and culture folks: the federal government has launched a (methodologically flawed) survey on "the Cultural Sector's readiness for Artificial Intelligence". If you're ready to resist or refuse genAI, here's your chance to let them know. pch.research-recherche.ca/f/s.aspx?lan...

I keep getting emails from the place I used to buy my kid’s school supplies. My youngest is going into 6th grade and probably needs very few supplies. Still I tolerate the emails because i need something to remind me! 😂

Clearing out a lot of stuff from my office. This is what’s left of my drawer. It was filled to the brim. Going to move some of these to my portable filling box. Drawer is approximately 32” length, 12” height and 16” width so it’s pretty big. I wish this was the bulk of the work but sadly it’s not.

Large drawer partially filled with folders, papers, envelopes and spiral bound art pads.

What do you mean that all of the notebooks were filled with notes from university classes? WHY DID I KEEP THOSE? There were a few stories here and there but mostly stuff I didn’t want to keep. I may have kept 15 pages out of like 15 notebooks. 😭 Does this count as editing? 🤔

Cleaning out my home office. Possibly going to move rooms, so I'm trying to get rid of a bunch of useless papers I have. I'm not sure how many copies of drawings or any given manuscript I should keep, but I'm pretty sure the answer is less than 10.

I really want to know what is it about Roar Organics Electrolytes (strawberry watermelon) that I can’t have. Recently had a cold and was given some (it was in a donate pile). I ended up with some flu like symptoms. Maybe stevia? I think it’s an intolerance because I was able to drink it at first.

Got an as per our last discussion type email when I asked for an appointment change. Email just repeated the original time. This person seemed really flexible before. Turns out my phone was showing the oldest emails first. The email was a review of our last talk. The appointment change was fine. 😅

My poor kitty is a big cat. Not fat — just really big. It makes it hard for him to get a good lap to sit on. I have to cross my legs for him to have enough space. I’m 5’10” and often he’s hanging on for dear life because there isn’t enough room on my lap.

A brownish grey cat curled up in a lap. His leg is dangling.

My ten year old kept singing songs this morning for KPop demon hunters, and then pointed to me to sing the next line. I'm like child, I do not know the words to this song and you need to eat breakfast. It didn't stop him from singing, though. I only know the refrain from "Soda Pop", sorry kiddo! 😂

Every single time I talk to him when he’s in the bathroom window he whines at me like I’m going to forcibly remove him. The window does get shut when it’s cold out but never when he’s in the window. Still he gives me this pitiful look and meows like I’m going to be mean.

Anyone have an idea for a free standing cat patio (available in Canada) that would be good for a very active cat? We are renting and I’m not sure that the landlord would appreciate us attaching it to the vinyl siding of our house (which would probably be unstable).

I think we really need to have a talk about this tuna tax. Every single time I eat (yes I said eat and not buy) I have to pay the tuna tax. And that tiny tax man is never happy. He always wants more. Seriously thinking about not buying tuna anymore if this keeps happening. #CatProblems

I miss when I could play instrumental music on YouTube without ads. The ads are so distracting while I'm writing. I guess I'm writing in silence for now. I will probably end up buying some good instrumental music, but I'm not paying for another monthly service.

happy aapi month, here are some of the indian people i put in my comic book scripts wherever I can lol (full issue credits in alt text!) 1: Spider-Man Unlimited Infinity Comic #19 2: X-Men: Blood Hunt: Jubilee #1 3: Supernatural Valentine's Day one-shot 4: Truth & Justice #7

A panel from Spider-Man Unlimited Infinity Comic #19, written by me, drawn by @ejsu28.bsky.social, colors by Frederico Blee, and letters by Clayton Cole.

It shows an older brown skinned Sikh man (Mr. Kapur) with a turban and beard, wearing a suit. He's talking to Spider-Boy.

Mr. Kapur: You! You're Spider-Boy!
Spider-Boy: Oh man, no one ever gets my name right on the first try!
Mr. Kapur: I know exactly how you feel. A panel X-Men: Blood Hunt: Jubilee #1 — writer: me, pencils: Enid Balám, inks: Elisabetta D'amico, colors: Jim Campbell, letters:
Ariana Maher

It shows a brown skinned indian woman, Sonal, talking to Jubilee (partially off panel). Sonal is stretching, and you can see that she has fangs. She's saying, "Sonal. My name's Sonal. And I'm feeling surprisingly okay. I definitely don't feel like a bunch of vampires just used me as a human blood bag." A panel from Supernatural Valentine's Day one-shot. PREETI CHHIBBER - WRITER
PASQUALE QUALANO - ARTIST
ARANCIA STUDIO - COLORISTS
JEFF ECKLEBERRY - LETTERER
CAT STAGGS - COVER ARTIST
NATE COSBY - PACKAGER & EDITOR

A panel of a tan-skinned Indian woman, Rati, just from the shoulders up. Her hair is in a long braid, and she has a bindi on. She's saying,

"I know what it's like to lose someone. No one should have to go through that pain anymore." A panel from Truth & Justice #7, written by me, art by Lalit Sharma, Colors by Wendy Broome, Letters by Jay Anacleto & Hi-Fi

It shows a tall Indian woman, Sonali, at the forefront, wearing a crop top and jeans. She has her hair back in a messy bun. Behind her is Zatanna in her classic costume of tuxedo top, black shorts, and fishnets.

Zatanna: I honestly have no idea. Do you?
Sonali: I wish! I Just... I can't even remember how long I've been here, let alone how I got here in the first place.

I have been plant robbed! Someone stole my cucumber plant. I have a bunch of plants in the backyard, so it was obviously a targeted attack. I mean the thief was obviously an animal, but still. This planter is about 22 inches tall. Wonder if it was a crow?

My cat likes to beat me to the restroom and perch on the toilet so he can get pets. There are so many things that could go wrong here. Yesterday he almost jumped inside the toilet because the lid was open. 🤣 One of these days he’s going to end up with a face full of toilet water.
