It actually makes me so sad riot saw that 2XKO wasn't just dominating sf6 a game that's way easier and particularly got most of its popularity after a few years in under 2 months and just went best I can do or drown the baby in the bathwater before dumping it
I don't know that any lessons will be taken from this. From Riot's perspective and many takes on the game, 2XKO "did everything right," it was F2P, it removed motion inputs, it had good online, it allowed you to play in a team and get carried, it did everything people said FG's had to do.
