I finally named my first solo iOS app: Biscuit Camera 🍪 This started as a winter break experiment, focused on shooting into a fixed frame, and kept growing in ways I didn’t plan for Designed in Figma, built with Cursor + Figma MCP TestFlight available via the link testflight.apple.com/join/swJ2hKcE
Went on my first holiday ever without a laptop. Karlsruhe, then Strasbourg. No Slack, no tabs open in my head. Just time with family. Didn’t expect it to feel this calm and full. A short trip that gave me so much

I think every designer should write a love letter to a font at least once in their lifetime. This is mine: A 150-year-old font you have likely never heard of, and one you probably saw earlier today. aresluna.org/the-hardest-...
Kept refining my small metal shader demo. Didn’t make huge progress, but seeing it on an actual device was a pleasant surprise, it feels so different from the simulator!
I experimented with a Metal shader inspired by Victoria Petrova’s tutorial. The Ripple Effect has been trending since iOS 17, and I found the tutorial surprisingly easy to follow despite my design background. Any recommendations for similar tutorials?
I've been exploring Metal shaders with Paul Hudson's tutorial. As a designer, even simple tasks like building a test app were challenging, but it's getting easier with good resources and ChatGPT. Any tips for diving deeper?
